De Beers Group today announced the value of rough diamond sales (Global Sightholder Sales and Auction Sales) for the tenth sales cycle of 2018.

Bruce Cleaver, CEO, De Beers Group, said: “De Beers Group’s rough diamond sales during the final cycle of the year continued to be in line with expectation ahead of the all-important retail selling season as cutting and polishing factories in India restarted their operations following the Diwali holiday.”

2 Cycle 9 2018 actual sales value is restated following the earlier publication of a provisional figure for the ninth sales cycle of 2018.
3 Sales values are quoted on a consolidated accounting basis. Auction Sales included in a given cycle are the sum of all sales between the end of the preceding cycle and the end of the noted cycle.
