"It's a great cause and we have supported it for several years,” Mooney told the Timmins Press. “The hospital here in Timmins supports the communities up on the coast and a lot of our employees and families and their dependants do come here for medical support from the hospital.”
Money raised from the Spring Ball and Lottery go towards the purchase of medical equipment for the Timmins and District Hospital's surgical program. There are 12 prizes to be won, with a total vallue of $50,000.
Tickets are available until May 2 and can be purchased through the Timmins & District Hospital Foundation office or through Days Inn & Spring Ball Lottery committee members.
