Element Six today announced that Siobhán Duffy, currently Executive Director for Sales and Marketing for Element Six, will take over from Walter Huehn as Chief Executive with effect from 1 February. Siobhán will also join the De Beers Group Executive Committee.
With more than 30 years of experience at Element Six, Siobhán has held a series of senior management positions, including leading the Oil & Gas business unit through unprecedented growth and heading the Element Six Innovation function as Executive Director from July 2014.
Commenting on her appointment, Siobhán said: “I’m honoured to be taking on the leadership of Element Six. The business is at an exciting juncture with strong performance in existing markets and significant potential for our products in emerging applications. I look forward to leading Element Six’s strong team as we continue to build our proposition across all market sectors.”
