In my first 10 months of working at De Beers, I have met a diverse range of people from many cultures across the globe and had some exciting opportunities to become involved in HR projects. Some of the projects include supporting the launch of a 360 degree feedback tool for managers and harmonising policies and creating handbooks across the local markets.
Most recently, I have enjoyed being part of an incredibly committed recruitment team in India where we took on about 70 high calibre employees in a week as part of preparing for the opening of a new grading and inscription laboratory. It is important to me that the company values are embedded in the culture and the ways of working of our people.
