Dali Diamond Co NV

Introduction

Dali Diamond Co. calls on the experience of five decades, and three generations of dedicated diamantaires, building a reputation for integrity and reliability that is still as valid today.

Since its foundation in Antwerp in 1950, Dali Diamond has become one of the world’s most prominent diamantaires, known for their wide assortment, exceptional service and quality level, and flair for new marketing initiatives.

Dali Diamond is an international group with products and services across the diamond pipeline. Through worldwide offices Dali supplies some of the world’s most prestigious watch and jewellery houses and high-profile retailers.

As a Diamond Trading Company Sightholder since 1969, Dali is able to offer consistency and reliability in supply, while the authenticity and integrity of their diamonds remain assured.

Its diversified sourcing strategy and specialist manufacturing approach are key elements of success in the company’s rapid growth.

Dali Diamond has an international distribution infrastructure in place to provide local support and market reach in each of its key geographical markets. Dali’s distribution is organised through a centralised structure, with the Group’s Antwerp headquarters as the heart of the group, serving as a central supply resource. It coordinates manufacturing, assorting and subsequent distribution to meet downstream demand from each business unit. In its home market, Dali is recognized as one of the leaders in its field, and a great contributor to the growth of Antwerp as the capital of the diamond industry because of its extensive local manufacturing.

Corporate Social Responsibility

The families Morsel and Hollander established an education fund in 1994, in memory of one of the company’s founders, David Morsel.

The David Morsel Education Fund is coordinated by “The Centrale,” an institution that unifies all Jewish social and charitable foundations, organisations and associations in Antwerp.  The Fund offers support and financial backing to starting businesses, and provides scholarships.  The Fund honours the motto of the late David Morsel: “Don’t give them a fish to eat, but teach them how to fish”.

On an ad hoc basis, Dali Diamond also supports a wide range of other charitable organisations.
