The Diamond Trading Company celebrated the start of the 2012 sales year last night at its annual Chairman’s Cocktail Reception. The gathering at Kensington Palace included a fitting tribute to the Oppenheimer Family, and a reaffirmation of Anglo American’s commitment to the partnership between De Beers and Sightholders.
The Diamond Trading Company (DTC) – the distribution arm of the De Beers Group – extended a unique opportunity to attendees at the ‘Diamonds in the Sky’ fundraising event in Hong Kong in September 2011 to bid to open the first DTC Sight of 2012 and to be guests of De Beers’ Chairman, Mr Nicky Oppenheimer, and Mrs Varda Shine, CEO of the DTC.
