Diamdel

Originally established in Antwerp in 1964, Diamdel supplies rough diamonds to a broad range of customers. Located in the World’s leading diamond centres of Antwerp, Tel Aviv and Hong Kong, Diamdel aims to maximise access to supplies at market prices.

The Hindustan Diamond Company (HDC) is an associated member of the Diamdel network, but it is not wholly owned by the De Beers Group. HDC is a joint venture between De Beers and the Government of India.

De Beers is committed to maintaining a consistent supply to the non-Sightholder market. Diamdel acts independently in fulfilling this role and in doing so provides sellers and buyers with a highly efficient and effective route to market.

Diamdel is able to market any rough diamonds via a combination of direct sales, auctions and special projects which ensures flexibility, optimal and transparent pricing and fast reliable transactions.

Diamdel’s primary activity is direct sales and we aim to offer consistent and regular supplies of De Beers’ goods and tailor-made assortments to registered clients around the world. Direct sales have always been and remain accountable for the majority of our global sales.

Diamdel aims to give buyers of rough diamonds optimal and regular access to the goods that they require and as such, on Monday 28th of January 2008 the Diamdel Group successfully completed some of the industry’s first on-line auctions for rough diamonds.

Diamdel E-Auctions offer buyers equal opportunities and options to purchase goods at market determined prices. They can do this in accordance with their needs in a safe, on-line and highly transparent environment.
